Intelligent thoughts while sitting on the toilet

HI! lol. I added my facebook profile to my links that way if you want to, you can read all that fun stuff. My current status came to me while i was sitting on the toilet which i found HIGHLY amusing. Anyways.... I am really excited about my trip to Kansas City to see one of my best friends ( i consider him family though so....), not to mention that i will be going to Worlds of Fun! Which will be AWESOME!!! If you are wondering why I am so all over the place tonight ( if you even noticed lol) it is because i am really tired and i drank almost a whole can of coke.... so yeah. You know guys say girls are complicated and i agree but what guys don't say is that they are also complicated and hard to figure out. Well let me put it this way.... SOME guys are hard to figure out, some guys can be described using phrases such as 'LOVES video games', 'LOVES food' or ' LOVES food AND video games' lol.  But there is this guy that i honestly would love to peek  into his brain every once in awhile because he does things that has me sitting there scratching my head and saying HUH!!! Although i have to ask, would I and/or you want a guy that was so easily understood? Where would the challenge and fun be in that?

I am going to admitt this to you readers (yes all two of you lol) I am a hopeless romantic. I love chick flicks, I read romance novels ALL THE TIME, and I am the loser who always roots for the main girl in the TV series to fall in love. The downside of this is quite simple actually. Its disheartening to see so many couples fighting or getting divorced and i can't help but want a little romance for myself. People laugh, but it seems that there is so little actual romance left in today's society. It seems all relationships boil down to the three letter word. SEX! If she/he is hot, go for it. But if she/he is more focused on intelligence or character, then that person is written off as 'friend only, DO NOT DATE!'. Or sometimes two people are together and its perfect but one or both want to focus on their careers. Don't hear what I'm not saying, there is nothing wrong with wanting to have a successful career. I just think that everything seems to come before love, true love to be exact. I know you are probably reading this and rolling your eyes at my 'silly-ness' which is perfectly acceptable. I was just in the mood to rant so i did :)   it probably doesn't help that i just finished reading a romance novel that has me mentally sighing and longing for someone to simply complete me ( yes i realize how COMPLETELY CORNY that sounded but there it is). It also doesn't help that i finished off my chocolate cake last night lol. Oh, well thats all folks....

HI! ok so I'm kinda getting used to the night life but not all the way because i miss my friends, tuesday nights at the Realm, and i actually miss hanging with my family (weird right? lol jk I LOVE YOU MOM!) Today is FRIDAY which should mean that when i come home from work at 1 in the morning that i can sleep until i decide to awaken but tomorrow is the city wide garage sale which is something I'm SO NOT going to miss. Even if it means getting up at the unholy hour of 7 o'clock IN THE MORNING!!!! But i get to chill with my mom which is normally pretty cool, unless of course creepy guys in the Walmart parking lot are involved (long story), so it will all work out. Although I'm warning the general public, if you see me Saturday morning, do not approach, i repeat DO NOT APPROACH! If you do approach you are either really really brave or really really really wishing your life to end. I say this with love lol i could  be a jerk and not warn you right? Oooh i forgot to tell you. My friend / adopted grandmother Rachel is trying to matchmake me with this guy i have never met before and my friend Arielle is trying to make me ask this guy out who reminds me of this other guy who i was head over heels for until i realized he had a stick up his admittedly cute butt :)... Confusing right? Thats all for now

The Breakfast club at Night

So i have a few buddies at work now that totally make the job WAY more interesting :)   It kind of makes me think of the movie Breakfast Club. There is no making out and come to think of it, no cute guys either. But its an odd bunch to be sure. this girl Tara is the youngest followed closely by yours truely. Then there are 3 or 4 people who are old enough to be my grandparents. Although that dont talk like it at all. In fact one of them even has A FACEBOOK! I KNOW! I was shocked when i found out too. Then there is Michael who just gets on all the girl's nerves mostly because he calls us weird ( we all know its true BUT STILL!)  Anyways..... I'm slowly getting used to going to bed around 2 in the morning and then getting up around noon to eat breakfast. The weekends are weird though. Sorry i blabbed so much about work.... So how are you?

There was no clown

Hey everyone who may or may not being reading this. I started my new job on Wednesday and it wasn't what i expected. I assumed data entry but in reality its ALOT of file pulling and paper sorting. It gets boring at times but i have a few buddies there already and i can listen to my music while doing it. I'm sad to report that there are no cute guys though lol. Anyways last night the company had a small carnival for the employees which was interesting and it got us out of working for 2 hours lol. I am still not used to going to work at 4:30pm and coming home at 1:00AM. I'm not sure how long it will be til I update my blog again so I just wanted to give you a heads up. Oh, there was no clown at the carnival. Which of course i didn't mind because honestly, they FREAK me out! Thats all for now.

Stick Figures ARE TOO ART!!!

So.... yeah, this one time at band camp.... lol jk. My mind kind of blanked and that was  the only thing that jumped aboard so i figured,  Why not? Anyways, I got really REALLY good news today. I FINALLY got this job that i have been waiting for FOREVER (which was actually a little over 2 weeks). I will be the proud owner of a DESK JOB!!! I can see some of you getting the glazed look in your eye and saying " Desk? You mean like with a computer? and paperwork?" Now your eyes are going from glazed to terrorized. Yes I WANTED a desk job. But don't worry, by me taking this job i am opening up a job at my previous place of employment. This job involved alot of saying "Do you want chips and a soda with that?" You can totally have THAT job. No computer involved or paperwork :)   The other interesting thing about this new job is that my hours will be from 4:30 pm to 1:00 AM!! Which I'm excited about because it means that i dont have to get up til 3:00 pm EVERY DAY!!  Anyways I really don't have much more to tell you except that i read someone's blog and this person drew stick people to go along with their blog and it  was AWESOME and really funny. Also and this is BIG! Starbucks has Hot Chocolate!!! ( do you hear the angels singing?) and AND its made with Godiva chocolate! Which is basically as close as many of us are going to get to discovering a hinden chest filled with treasure.

A whole bunch of Nothing

Today was one of those days, that if it were a recorded tv show, one would probably fast foward to the commericals (one 'm' or two? i don't remember). I think the biggest thing i discovered today is another one of my many faults. I never realized how annoying i am lol!  In my mind things are constantly bouncing around and sometimes .... ok ALOT of times i open my mouth and let my thoughts fly without a care to the consquences. To everyone who has been bothered by this habit, I sincerely (gah! did i spell that wrong too?) apologize. Although if I may, I would like to explain just a little, so one could understand my madness, as it were. I grew up in books, so i was quiet and shy ( I KNOW! everyone is shocked to hear that but its TRUE). One day i got tired of being polite 24/7 and quiet and well nice. So i decided i wanted to be ME whoever/whatever that is. And well apparently ME is a loud mouthed, opiniated annoying person. WHO KNEW?  That is all for today but i would like to leave you with the following quote to ponder, if you so choose.

Hey guys! I went to service saturday today and it wasnt what i expected. I would love to tell you that I'm not complaining but i think a little bit of the nasty stuff might creep in, so i apologize in advance. Not many of the people in my class showed up today so we broke up into teams of two. Which meant i went with my friend Becca, now don't hear what i'm not saying, i love hanging out with Bec Bec but when i do this things part of me hopes to be able to talk to different people that i don't see all the time. Anyways we went back to the house that we visited in July. The lady who lives there is 84 years old and she has been to so many cool and interesting places for mission trips. We did a little bit of work and then sat and listened to her reminisce for three hours. We cheered her up which was our mission so YEAH! and my friend Becca is getting closer to being saved which is DOUBLE YEAH!!! But onto other matters, matters not nearly as uplifting. My friend who i said i got back with after fighting with for 3 weeks? Well the reason we fought is because she is doing something i know is wrong and when i told her, she accused me of judging her. Well we got back together on the grounds that we wouldnt talk about it unless she wanted to talk. Well i think she is really bitter, and i honestly don't know what to do anymore. Any advice would be much appreicated. Sorry to have a not so exciting blog today :(

CrayON boxes, Cute Waiter, and Cranking up the Music!

 So today was pretty much uneventful... well up til about 6 anyways. Around that time we (my sister and I) hopped in her car and then picked up Sarah (who is UBER HYPER), Becca, who is really tall but really cool all at the same time. And then there was Nicole, who is ... well she is Nicole, enough said. So after telling them a  funny story involving a guy and a stick, we decided to go to Outback for dinner. It was AWESOME! Our waiter put  the YUM in YUMMY :)   his name is Nick btw if you wanna go drool over him lol.  At Outback we discovered that if you blow into the box that the crayons come in, it makes a whistling noise which is just fun. Sadly Mel took away our boxes, because we were quote on quote "ANNOYING!"  Nick was very understanding of our ....'weirdness' and we left  him a 25 dollar tip (believe me, he EARNED it!). Oh i found out that i pronounce Crayons wrong. Who knew? On the way home we were ummm a bit giddy so we cranked up the music and sang along to "Highway to Hell", etc. Overall, it was a very interesting night. And tomorrow i get to go do Service Saturday with my friend Becca.! I can't wait, even if it is at 8:00 in THE MORNING!!!!

Friends, Chicken, and LOTS of Mac & Cheese!

Sorry yall that i didnt post anything yesterday. It was one of those days. I got back with my friend . We had a huge fight that resulted in us not talking for three weeks. Anyways we spent the whole day together which was nice but i was pooped and it made my allergies act up. So i spent all day today in a medicated daze lol . Then i went to her place tonight and it was pretty interesting. I sat there waiting for my friend Chris to show up but the guy spent 3 HOURS working out! I KNOW!! My idea of working out is going up the stairs to pee! Plus the guy is a health nut! Sometimes it amazes me that we get along at all.  Currently i'm talking to Tommy on the phone ( Tommy if you are reading this.... HI!). He is currently teasing his older brother who is a loveable stick who shares my love for Jane Austen. I dont really know what else to say so.... oh! The title! well the friends part you should understand. But when i went to her place tonight her boyfriend Travis made Chicken and Arielle ( my friend) decided to macaroni and cheese. She made WAY TOO MUCH! So if any of you are in the mood for mac and cheese.......

A blonde Whirlwind... its dangerous because even it doesn't know where it is going

Well i have to admitt that i dont have much to report, even less that is actually interesting. But i love talking to someone.. even if it is my computer lol. Ok so i have to warn you, this post might get a little deep. HEY! don't look shocked! I can be deep! I CAN! Well anyways, today i have found myself feeling very reflective. For example, for the longest time all i have ever wanted is a boyfriend (lame i know but let me explain) someone to make me feel complete. I guess its because i LOVE to read romances and the girl always seems better after meeting Mr. Right. That and as much as i adore being different sometimes i wish i had some normal childhood memories, such as my first kiss, first boyfriend,etc. But a few weeks ago i realized what a hazzle a boyfriend would be. NO I'M SERIOUS! Think about it for a sec. When you have a boyfriend you have to dress up and worry about looking good for them. You have to set aside time for them, even if it means not reading that new book you just got ( yes i am aware i'm a nerd). Not to mention i don't think they would appreciate when you happen to notice the cute guy who works at Taco Bell lol. Not don't hear what i'm not saying.... I would still love to have someone to eat dinner with, someone i CAN dress up for, and someone i can discuss stuff with but i'm slowly learning to see the positive side of these things :)    Besides, what guy out there could even handle me? ;)

Labor for Labor Day.... TOO MUCH LABOR if you ask me :)

So i briefly scanned the history of Labor Day  and let me tell you, its labor to read it. It was pretty much as dry as dirt but it basically said that Labor Day is set aside to honor those "who from rude nature have delved and carved all the grandeur we behold." -Peter J. McGuire.   Anywho i just thought you might be slightly curious. Now for something i think is more fun.  I'm going to include a poem by my favorite poet, Maya Angelou. This poem is title Phenomenal Woman:

Oh as a side note, on the very small possibility that some guy ever decides to ask me out.  Please make sure they know that i dont like roses ( I perfer Sunflowers) and i dont like poetry (UNLESS its Maya Angelou) I do LOVE chocolate (as any woman should). I love this poem because its for normal girls you know? Not the ones that are a size two and spend hours making themselves looks beautiful. But for the girls who care more about personality then looks and who might have to, Heaven forbid, wear clothes bigger then that of a healthy middle schooler. That was my little rant lol. My labor day was nice and relaxing. And i really hoped you enjoyed yours as well.

Beelzebub, THE Joker, and Death were hanging out at Target.....

So I have to tell you about my day. Oh, wait! In case you were mildly curious or really really REALLY curious ( you creeper!) , I didn't get to dream about a yummy studmuffin last night :(   lol. Ok back to today. I went to church and the service was good and thought provoking (as it should be) and sunday school was actually very very good. I'm not saying that it isnt normally good but today felt like the huddle before a football game or a briefing before a war. And by football game or war, i of course mean Christians vs. World/ the Devil. Kudos goes out to Alex for coming up with the idea.  Afterwards, Rebecca, Mel, and myself decided to eat at Texas Road House ( Dont get the cheese fries) and we actually had a very calm lunch. Then on the way home my sister Mel decides to have a nose bleed, (rude right?) lol. Apparently this was Rebecca's first up close and personal with blood coming out of a nostril. I felt like an adventure so we went to Target and follows will be pictures showcasing the fun we had.

So today wasnt the most exciting Saturday ever but it had its moments. For example, a customer at Jimmy Johns thought that i might possibly have a wife, (btw i SO DO NOT!) I worked for what seemed like FOREVER and then got to go home, put my feet up, and watch this cool tv that i just found. (P.S. you didnt remind me to add Leverage to my favorites :p  ) Then mom very graciously dyed my hair for me and im getting used to the color but it feels so SOFT!!! I keep having the urge to pet my own head lol. I finally got nail polish remover so my nails when from black with a failed attempt at chinese symbols, to purple blue and sparkles :)   then i put purple on my toes .... also with Sparkles. Thats where are the colors come in..... just in case you hadn't already figured it out lol.  Now i know that some of you (if not all) are rolling your eyes at me and wondering why i am babbling on about such vain girly things. Normally i wouldnt but my lesson for the day is - Enjoy the small things and/or realize that it doesnt have to be something huge to make you smile.  So i am off to sleep on my oh so soft hair. Hopefully i dream of some yummy studmuffin because that would so TOTALLY make my day lol .Good Night Sleep Tight and Remeber that only male crickets chirp!

Ok thats not techinally true since im no where near the size of boat and i dont have tons of tiny people about to die. But i having a sinking (Ha Ha) feeling. Nothing major just little things im worried about. Like when if ever the people from my new job are going to call and tell me when i can start. And if i will have enough money to pay my bills this month. I say these are little things because in the scheme of things they are. I mean no one i know is dying or anything. Its times like these when i remember something my friend Tommy is always harping into me, and that is "Krista why worry about anything when the God who controls EVERYTHING is in control, I mean what will worrying do really?" And as much as it pains me to say this, Tommy is right ( but since he isnt following my blog, he will NEVER KNOW,hehehehe KARMA!!!) Dude i feel better already. Thank you blog readers/my faithful followers.... all 3 of you lol for listening. Ok i think i am done for now. Maybe it is time for a nap :)

I had a dream..and it was WEIRD! Shocking right?

Good MORNING fellow bloggers/ blog readers/blog people? You will have to bear with me since im not really fully awake yet. Ok so i had a funky dream and thought maybe yall would get a kick out of it. So it was a two part dream. The first part was like a weird episode of Leverage. Side note: Leverage is an AMAZING tv show. Ooh remind me to add that to my favorites ok? Anyways, i had to help Parker solve this mystery kind of thing and it was really fun. The second part is where it gets weird. There was this radioactive spider. Ok  im girl enough to say that spiders fall out the EWWW KILL IT! part in my mind, but this spider was sad because the bad guys were making it perform for people. The bad guy was just not a very good business person i guess. Well then somehow I'm in this storage closet with another person and  some Cardinal baseball players. We started having an EPIC food fight and i dosed the baseball guys with mustard.  And then....... I woke up to Max licking my face. I know right? What a way to wake up. 
Ok so now im going to go look up a new ringtone bc im finally tired of  the one i have right now. Any suggestions?

Hi! You ever feel like there are so many thoughts bouncing around in your head that you can't keep them straight? Well that seems to happen to me ALOT so i figure i would type them down and let others enjoy them or ponder them or simply marvel that there is indeed someone as weird as me out there. I will warn you right not, everyone who knows me will say that im odd, or weird, or strange. But the way i see it is like this. I'm going to be myself no matter what. That way if someone likes me then i know they like ME, does that make any sense? Whatsoever?  That seems to be all for now but i will for sure be typing your ears off later lol CIAO!
